Therapy for People-Pleasing: Address the Root Cause of Anxiety & Increase Self-Esteem

You don’t have to have experienced what you would describe as trauma, for a trauma-informed approach to be helpful.

Having 15 years + experience helping people from all walks of life I am able to incorporate all my training, experience, research knowledge and qualifications to provide you with trauma-informed therapy for people-pleasing that integrates parts of different evidence-based approaches and proven effective techniques.

‘Trauma-informed’ means looking at your difficulties with a curiosity that considers ‘what has happened to you’ rather than through a lens of ‘what’s wrong with you’.

With trauma-informed therapy you uncover and address the root cause of your people-pleasing to increase your self-esteem and self confidence.

You will address unhelpful people-pleasing habits and difficulties, such as; low confidence, avoidance, approval-seeking, stress, burn-out, resentment in relationships, not feeling like you fit in, struggling to speak up, fear of confrontation, feeling overwhelmed or unsure of yourself and indecisiveness.

Whilst I have trained in various techniques over the years, my core training is in Schema Therapy, EMDR Therapy and trauma-informed CBT which means I am qualified to effectively address the root cause.

My integrative psychotherapy and trauma-informed approach means I’m different from ‘one size fits all’ services by providing you with therapy for people-pleasing that is tailored to your individual needs and doesn’t just focus on managing your ‘symptoms’, instead my focus is targeting the cause.
