  • Wherever you prefer - as long as you are in a comfortable and confidential place with strong internet connection and access to Zoom your setting is up to you! This is the beauty of remote therapy.

  • The UNLOCK Method is a structured six-step approach focusing on understanding your people-pleasing patterns, noticing and rewiring your mindset, letting go of unhelpful habits, owning your wants and needs, cultivating self-trust, to empower you to keep embodying your authentic self. Each step is designed to help you build the skills and confidence needed to set healthy boundaries and say yes to the real you.

  • The Unlock Clarity session offers a standalone opportunity to gain deep insights into your personal challenges without the commitment to a multi-session package. It's a great starting point that provides you with clarity and actionable steps, allowing you to start making changes immediately. If you find value in the session and wish to explore deeper changes, you have the option to apply your session fee toward the Unlock Change package within 7 days.

  • While Unlock Change provides a structured 3-month program focused on overcoming people-pleasing behaviors, Unlock Freedom offers a more flexible approach to therapy. It's designed for continued personal growth and deeper exploration of complex issues that may not be fully addressed in a structured program. Unlock Freedom adapts to your evolving needs, allowing for sessions to be booked as needed or through a block of sessions at a reduced rate.

  • The Unlock Clarity session is a 90-minute deep-dive designed to help you gain immediate clarity on the root causes of your people-pleasing behaviors. It's ideal if you're feeling stuck and need a clear understanding of what's holding you back, without committing to a longer-term therapy process. On the other hand, the Unlock Change package is a comprehensive 3-month program that includes bi-weekly therapy sessions, providing a more in-depth exploration and sustained support to help you break free from people-pleasing habits. This package builds on the insights gained in the Unlock Clarity session (or other initial consultations) and offers a structured pathway to deeper personal transformation.

  • Absolutely! If you find that you're ready for more in-depth support after your Unlock Clarity session, you can apply your session fee towards the Unlock Change package if you choose to upgrade within 7 days of your session. This option is designed to make it easy for you to continue your journey towards change without interruption.

  • After completing the Unlock Change package, you may choose to continue your journey with additional support tailored to your needs. This could involve flexible, ongoing therapy sessions focused on deeper emotional work, processing past experiences, or strengthening new behaviors and mindsets. We can discuss these options towards the end of your package to ensure a seamless transition that supports your continued growth and personal development.

  • The Unlock Change package is not suitable for individuals who are in immediate crisis, need intensive trauma processing, or are looking for a quick fix without engaging in deeper therapeutic work. It's designed for those ready to commit to a structured therapy program that requires active participation and reflection between sessions. If you're dealing with acute mental health issues or need immediate assistance, other services may be more appropriate to meet your needs at this time.

  •  The 'Unlock Change' package offers a focused and structured approach tailored specifically to overcoming people-pleasing behaviors. Unlike traditional therapy, which often explores a wide range of issues on an open-ended basis, this three-month program is designed with clear goals and outcomes, providing a compact timeline for measurable progress. This isn’t just 6 sessions of standard generic therapy. Here’s what makes it uniquely effective:

    1. A Targeted Step by Step Approach: Each session is carefully crafted to address your difficulties and work towards your goals, employing evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and EMDR and more.

    2. Comprehensive Framework: The 'Unlock Method' underpins this program, blending educational content, self-awareness exercises, and practical strategies. You won’t just talk about your struggles—you’ll work through proven methods designed to unlock real change.

    3. Enhanced Learning Materials: Video modules serve to deepen your understanding of key concepts discussed during sessions and supplement our work together. Accompanying PDFs offer exercises, worksheets, and summaries that you can refer to anytime to help cement your learning and progress.

    4. Between-Session Support: You’re not alone between our sessions. You’ll receive limited email or voice note support to help you apply what you’ve learned, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain momentum.

    5. Measured Progress: We start with a deep dive 90 minute session to Unlock Clarity around your needs and goals and conclude with an evaluation to measure your outcomes, ensuring the therapy is effective and responsive to your journey.

    By integrating direct therapy alongside supportive educational materials and structured follow-up, the 'Unlock Change' package is designed to provide a structured yet personalised effective therapeutic experience.

  • I have vast experience of working with people experiencing a range of difficulties whether that be PTSD, Complex trauma, panic attacks, social or health anxiety, worry, overthinking and overwhelm, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and more.  Some of the people I work with don’t realise they are people-pleasers until we start exploring their patterns of behaviour and thought processes.   • My training, experience and qualifications means I often work successfully with people who have been in therapy before and not felt the benefit.  A lot of the people I work with might describe previous episodes of therapy where they ‘get it’ but don’t ‘feel it’ and therefore nothing has really changed. This is why my approach is different - it’s all about getting to the root of your difficulties and working from the inside out with the aim of transformation and long-term changes to occur. 

  • I ask that you please give me as much notice as possible and I require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation to enable us to reschedule the appointment.

  • Appointments usually take place Monday - Wednesday from 9:30am with my latest available appointment taking place at 4:30pm. There may be occasions when I can offer you a Thursday appointment.

  • Due to the nature of private practice, I’m unable to provide crisis support or respond to urgent requests. If you need emotional support as a matter of urgency please contact the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT on 85258.  You can also seek support from your GP or local mental health service / crisis team.   If you are concerned you may be at risk of hurting yourself and are worried you may not be able to keep yourself safe please call 999 or attend A&E.

  • The beauty of online remote therapy means you can access our sessions from various geographical locations Unfortunately there are some limits due to my insurance and legalities for example, I’m unable to work with people in the USA and Canada.  If you want check we can work together please don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me to confirm. 

  • In the 'Unlock Change' three-month package, you are scheduled for six sessions. We will typically meet every two weeks. This bi-weekly arrangement allows sufficient time between sessions for you to reflect on and apply what we've discussed, ensuring that you can make the most out of your therapy journey. If you have any specific scheduling needs or adjustments, please feel free to discuss them with me during our initial session or via email.

    The frequency of sessions in the 'Unlock Freedom' package is tailored to your unique needs and goals. We will discuss and determine a session schedule that best supports your personal growth journey. This flexible approach ensures that your therapy aligns perfectly with your individual circumstances and the pace at which you are comfortable progressing.

    For clients referred through insurance, sessions are usually scheduled on a weekly basis. However, this can vary depending on the specific terms of your insurance contract and the referral instructions provided by your insurer. We will review and adhere to these guidelines to ensure your therapy aligns with the stipulated requirements, and I will work with you to make any necessary adjustments.
